Palm Multi-Connector serial interface for LD, TX, etc

This is a general use serial adapter for the Palm series that use the "Multi-Connector". It provides a very simple method of creating a RS232 connection to your computer.

It is compatible with Palm Debugger, Palm OS Debugger, GDB (for Palm devices). A female connector can be added (the schematic may be improperly labeled, but the female connector, the host connector as I call it, should still be correct) to allow the palm to connect to a GPS or other serial device. I have used my Garmin Etrex with TomTom navigator, and it works fine. I have used it with LCDSmartie and PalmOrb, Where it works great at 115200 Baud.

My design requires a +3.3v regulator, as the palm's TTL signals are at ~3.3v. This runs the MAX233 at the 3.3v, and prevents your palm's serial port from being fried.
